THE POSITION
The Analytical Laboratory Technician role focuses on executing fit-for-purpose analytical methods, supporting method development and the implementation of GMP-ready methods. Being part of the Analytical Services Team will allow you to interact across the multi-cultural teams of Celonic. You will support the implementation, optimization and characterization of state-of-the-art processes by applying advanced analytical tools (e.g. HPLC, CE, compendial methods) for characterization of the product quality of various biological products.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation and performance of analyses following established SOPs (e.g. HPLC, CE, compendial methods) Data evaluation and reporting according to customer needs (i.e. process development) via result databases and LIMS Receiving, storing and organizing test samples for analysis, shipment and long-term storage Support new method development, handover and implementation of analytical methods for routine analysis Support in the transfer/handover of analytical methods to GMP Quality Control Regular review/update/improvement of processes and SOPs Support the organization and performance of laboratory checks to ensure efficient and timely execution of sample testing
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Biological laboratory technician degree (preferred) or BSc in Biotechnology or related field Biotechnology or Pharma industry experience, ideally CDMO setting (1-2 years) Hands-on experience in performing analytical methods for the characterization of biologics (HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, compendial methods) is a plus Knowledge of sampling and laboratory processes and willingness to extend related know-how Demonstrated experience in working autonomously and self-disciplined to meet timelines Flexible and solution-focused mindset with strong operational, organizational, and documentation skills Confident in the use of the English language (German is a plus)
